As a hearing professional, Jason offers not only his hearing services and products, but also has the experience to help guide you to a life of better hearing. Jason and his staff offer a wide variety of quality products and professional services. These include hearing evaluations, hearing aid repairs, hearing aid demonstrations, and custom hearing aid fittings for all levels of hearing loss.

As a hearing care professional I pride myself in taking the time to get to know my patients and what matters to them. I have been providing Hearing instruments services for the past 15 years in my local community: the same community that I have had the privelage to raise my three sons in. Being part of Family Hearing Center, I look forward to being able to continue to provide care and compassion in all the communities we serve.
Melissa Houlihan, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Nazareth University in 2009 and her Clinical Doctorate of Audiology from Northeastern University in 2013.
Dr. Houlihan was born with moderate nerve hearing loss in her left ear. She was exposed to the field of audiology by being a patient herself. Now, she loves being able to connect with people and listening to their communication difficulties. Providing someone a tangible solution (hearing aids) and seeing the positive effects it has on their quality of life is extremely rewarding. She has experience providing comprehensive hearing evaluations for patients of all ages, fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and performing diagnostic balance tests for patients suffering from vertigo/disequilibrium.
Dr. Houlihan enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. She enjoys being outdoors as often as possible and traveling to new places.

Helping patients and being a part of their successful hearing journey is the reason I chose this profession. Being a family oriented person, this line of work allows me to bring the care of my family to you. I grew up in Belmont and enjoy meeting new people within my community as well as seeing community members that I have known for many years. I love the environment Family Hearing Center offers and look forward to getting to know and serve our patients and our community.

We have a wide array of diagnostic services to evaluate your hearing. From this assessment, we make a recommendation on how to improve your hearing, protect your hearing, manage your tinnitus and/or enhance your enjoyment of sound. From beginning to end you can count on us to make sure your individual needs are met and that ultimately the quality of your life is improved.
Jason is kind, patient and knowledgeable. He helped my elderly father obtain a replacement hearing aid for my mom very quickly. He was quick to respond to calls and questions with the patience only a truly dedicated professional can provide.
